Just this side of heaven is a place called
Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially
close to someone here,
that pet goes to Rainbow
Bridge. There are meadows
and hills for all of our special friends so they
can run
and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and
our friends
are warm and comfortable. All the animals who
had been ill and old are restored to health and
vigour.
Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and
strong again,
just as we remember them in our
dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are
happy and content, except for one small thing;
they each miss someone very special to them, who
had to be left behind. They all run and
play together, but the day comes when one
suddenly stops and looks
into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent. His eager body
quivers. Suddenly he begins
to run from the group, flying over the green
grass,
his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been
spotted, and when you and your special friend
finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be
parted again. The happy kisses
rain upon your face; your hands again caress the
beloved
head,
and you look once more into the trusting eyes of
your pet, so long gone from your
life but never
absent from your heart.

Rainbow Bridge together....

Our
beloved Devon Rex female "Eliza"
is
not
longer
with
us.
She
left
us
11 years old July 11, 2011 because of
her
cancer.
Unfortunately
there was
nothing
more
to do.
She was our first Devon Rex female and she really
was a dream come true in many ways! I will probably never have a cat with her
personality again and I really loved her so much.
She
will
always have
a
very big place
in
our hearts.

After a few years break from the dog scene when I went for other things
in my life so began my dog interest to come to life again and we decide that it
would be a Greyhound again after a few years hold without this amazing breed. So
in December 2001 we brought home "Epic Bewitched At Winter Moon" and she was
really a "dream come true" in all ways.
Unfortunately, we lost her too soon even 3 years old in the
after-effects of an tragic gastrointestinal surgery. This was a big and
terrible loss for us, but she will always remain a very big place
in our hearts! A big thanks to her breeder and our dear friends Annalena
Almgren and Johan Rosengren, Kennel Epic for
the opportunity and trust to letting
"Nellie" come to us at Winter Moon's.

"Amie" was our second Devon Rex
female and she
was
really a
very beautiful and
gentle
little girl.
She had
some nice placements
on cat shows and
was Nominated
a few times, but
unfortunately
she
left
us
too
soon. She
will
always have
a
place
in
our hearts.

An
entirely different breed that I have always loved is the English Bulldog who
despite his total contrast to the Sighthounds always have had a big place in
my heart. I´ve been dreaming about this breed since my teens and still
it took me over 22 years before my dream came true and I bought my
first English Bulldog.
In 1997 I bought Boxwood
Priscilla Winter Moon from Tommy Lundqvist and Christopher Bailey in
Stockholm and "Emma" was really a dream come true in all ways. In 2003 I
bought Måneskjöld´s Mirrabooka from my dear friends Ingela
Wikström-Johansson and Lars Johansson in Alingsås.
Unfortunately, I lost both my girls in young age and this was
a big and terrible loss for me, but they will always remain a big
place in my heart!
